Description

This is a curly Koa Pahoa A'u. The Pahoa/plunge-type dagger was preferred by Hawaiian Kanaka Koa, as compared to other parts of Polynesia, where more bludgeon-style clubs were the choice. This A'u bill/marlin bill is detailed with Ki'i carvings for protection. These are my interpretive embelishments to a standard dagger.
