A strong warrior was referred to as a voracious ulua fish. This artwork titled "Ulua Kapapa" includes a cultural explanation in hawaiian and english languages. The custom frame and pale pu'upu'u (knuckle duster) weapon is handmade with koa wood. The weapon is placed before a velvet background and is left open for viewers to touch (and use).
