Description

This Pahoa lei'o mano is made of figured Hawaiian Ohia Wood using a pegged-style lash to secure the niho mano/tiger shark teeth. A traditional eight-plait braided Kaula is used for the lanyard to secure one's grip. This mea kaua is 16.5"L X 5.5"W. This weapon was quite effective and versatile as a cutting weapon in close combat given that this leiomano has a pahoa on the grip side. this weapon gave the warrior a double attack being able to use both a plunge and slashing dagger in battle.
