This is a figured and Curly Koa Pahoa Niho Mano or "Lei'o Mano. This weapon is 14.75"L x 6.25"W. The probably is the most recognized of Hawaiian Na Mea kaua, most likely reserved for Ali'i/Royalty due to the rarity & reverence for the Niho Mano. This is V-lashed with traditional techniques with a hand-made hemp aho/cording. The kaula is also hand-made. All the shaping is by hand with attention to detail priority one. The Koa was finished with a traditional hand-rubbed kukui nut oil finish.
