This Makau/fish-hook is made from the same pre-ban Ming's Ivory. This style of Makau is easily recognized as a Hawaiian style makau/fish-hook, even made more special with the beautiful schreger patterned Ivory. This particular makau is a very popular hook style. This hook measures at 1.75"L X 1.00"W. This Makau is attached to a waxed barktan Kaula/neckcord. This necklace can be ordered to length in "necklace size" options. Please select a size to ensure a custom fit. Since I try to make all my Makau's custom, there will be slight variances from hook to hook. This is what makes these truly custom for each person.
