This Makau/fish-hook is made from the same pre-ban Ming's Ivory. This style of Makau is probably one of the most recognized Hawaiian styles of hooks, even made more special with this beautifully patterned Ivory. This particular makau is the most popular hook I think I reproduce. This hook is like "Hawaiian Ivory makau". Just a smaller version at 1.875"L X 1.125"W.attached to a barktan Kaula/neckcord.
