Hawaiian Feather Cape - 'Ahu'ula

This is a traditionally handmade Hawaiian feather cape ('ahu'ula or 'ahuli'i). The netting used is a fine mesh 1/4" knotting, the feathers are natural red and yellow from the Chinese Golden Pheasant. The feathers are cut and then bundled together 3 feathers each, then hand tied to each know of the cape. The complete cape has over 7,500 bundles of feathers tied onto the netting and creates a plush feather surface. This cape does come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
