The Adz is a symbol of focus and an achiever. The Adz was the blade of an ax used in making outrigger canoes. This piece is made of fossilized walrus tusk ivory. Due to the nature of fossil ivory, there will be slight differences in the color of the material. This 1-1/4 x 1/2 inch piece is traditionally wrapped with an adjustable nylon cord and will last for many years.
