I was inspired for this piece by an epic Pipeline day I saw last winter on Oahu's North Shore. It was perfect velvet conditions and breaking on the outer reefs that day. This body-boarder just came in after battling the strong currents and an awesome ride that he'll remember for the rest of his life. It's one of the best feelings in the world, to conquer a huge mass of moving ocean like that!
