Outside of Hilo is the district of Keaukaha and the bays known as Four Miles. This secluded saltwater pond is protected by a barrier island and the waters is crystal clear and cold for underground freshwater springs. Lots of people come here during the weekend and spend a great day swimming and playing. A beautiful scene to paint.
