Jenifer Prince

Jenifer Higginbotham Prince grew up on the beach at Malibu surfing sailing and diving. Her parents both artists, encouraged her talent and she received her training at Santa Monica City College, Mira Costa College, U.C.L.A. and U.C.S.D. She moved to Kauai to surf and raise her daughter. 

Jenifer works primarily in oils, acrylics, mixed media and oil pastel. Her current interest is painting in plein air (painting on location). She has studied with Camille Prezwodick, Ken Auster, Peggy-Kroll Roberts and other great plein air masters. She has designed logos and murals, painted on 
furniture and surfboards. She is a member of Kauai Society of Artists, is a signature member of KOPA (Kauai Outdoor Painters Association) and her work is found in collections throughout the United States. Commercial projects include Kauai Marriot Hotel, Ching Young Village Mural, Princeville Ranch Stables and Yoga Hanalei.
