This Kona Style Lauhala Hat is handmade using the maka oeno and moena patterns with a band of kaimana (or "diamond"). The hat has a 3-5/8" tall crown and 3-1/4" wide brim. The koe (strips) plaited are 1/8 inch wide. The lauhala was gathered and papale made in Kona on the Big Island. Forehead sweatband sewn in for comfort.
