This Lauhala Hat is handmade using the maka oeno (twill) pattern. The hat has a 3.5" tall crown and 2.75" wide brim. The brim has nihoniho (points) with a lower layer. The koi (strips) plaited are 1/8 inch wide. The lauhala was gathered and papale made in Kona on the Big Island. Forehead sweatband sewn in for comfort.
