This is a Curly Koa wood Whaletail. The pendant is 1.0"L x 1.625"W. Koa is our most recognized, and rare endemic woods. Koa: as defined for the Tree is as "The Strong One". Because of its stature in Hawaiian forests. Koa also is a reference to the Warrior. The Kohola, whale is like the "strong one" of the sea, solid strong, a symbol of strength and speed.
