This bone-carved Honu has really tested my patience in seeing how manini/small I can go. The necklace(kaula) can be made to length in the "necklace size" options above. The Aho (cording) is hand-made bark-tan waxed-marine cord. The pendant is 1.125"L x 1.125"W. The honu is a representative of the ocean voyager and protects the traveler on his journey. for some Ohana's the Honu is much more than a symbol of good travel, but also a Family Aumakua/ancestral spirit Guardian.
