Description

This Makau la'au koa hook was one of my late makuakane/ father's last hand carved hooks, he would have wanted to share his aloha/love of carving with all, This Makau is a jab-style hook. My dad loved to carve wood, Kamani was his favorite because of the ease and smoothness of carving, a rich figured wood with a Brown Kaula/neckcord. This makau has my dad's Mana & Aloha for fishing, something he never got enough time for. Well, Hana Pa'a Pops! Fish on! I know your hooking da big buggahs now!
