Description

This is a Makau Iwi nui/ Big bone hook, for the larger fish in the sea. This particular Jab-style barbless hook is made of beef bone and is 2-5/8" long x 1-3/8" wide. It is attached to a 20" Marine waxed tan Kaula/neck cord. The cording is "Huli" into a 3-ply aho. We try to represent, the true/makau of Hawaii nei, made in Hawai'i, not overseas, not mass produced, but with true aloha. This is a first generation hook, as opposed to the rotating-style hooks more commonly seen. A striking piece.
