This piece was on display at the prestigious Wailoa Gallery in Hilo. It is a very unusual piece due to the fact that the knowledge and skill in cutting the design is hard to come by. The rough cut of the design took 10 hours to complete. Sanding and shaping took another 10 hours. The geckos are dyed a beautiful rust color and are sit on a band of beige sand paint. A copper painted band completes the design and copper trim appears on each gecko.
