Kaypee is a distinguished international graphic designer and has been composing award-winning images professionally for over 20 years. His work is a reflection of the modern artist; he creates art that emulates the qualities of fine art. All of his designs are a composition of his photography and graphics that reflect the places and experiences of living; a special time, place or element caught in his photographic lens that is combined with the application of color, texture and form to create a one of a kind artwork with the characteristics that make it distinctive. His artwork is gaining the attention Interior Designers, Architects, Corporate and individual collectors looking for unique and fresh artwork that inspires. Kaypee's artwork is produced utilizing the Giclee reproduction process, which highlights the detail in the layering effect of Kaypee's art while capturing the vibrancy of color. Born in Malaysia Kaypee grew up in surroundings that at an early age encouraged his interest in art's and crafts; with a passion for the creative he left home, to begin his artistic training at East Ham College in London. He studied and explored watercolor, charcoal, oil painting but fell in love with the artistic side of commercial art and focused on print graphic design. He graduated with Distinction, receiving the highest mark of any graduating class in twenty-years. In his final year of college he has recruited by the prestigious Pentagram Agency in London beginning his professional career in graphic art.

With the ever-present desire to expand his portfolio and challenge artistic style he returned to his home land of Malaysia to work at firms in Kuala Lumpur and neighboring Singapore. When his sister moved to Canada an opportunity arrived for Kaypee to advance his craft in North America; first stop Victoria BC Canada, then Toronto, and finally the ultimate experience in New York City, where he designed visual campaigns for L'Oreal USA, American Express, MTV, IBM, ALtria and IBM (to drop a few names).

Today Kaypee is Creative Director and Partner at So:mace Design a Hawaii based boutique multi-disciplinary graphic design studio located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Having his own design studio has always been Kaypee's goal; this is a new chapter in life that is allowing him to express his artistic style in his art and lifestyle designs. Kaypee is fascinated with the essence of Hawaii, it's culture, natural beauty and climate where all of these elements evoke fond memories of life as a child in Malaysia. Living and working in Hawaii also places Kaypee half way between beloved family in Malaysia and dear friends in North America, who could ask for anything more.
